About Us

WELCOME TO THE ROAD TO HEALTH

Our goal is to provide the highest quality of natural health care to as many patients as possible. Quality, to us, means to give, to do, to serve and to love. It means you get the results you need to feel your best. Unlike traditional chiropractic clinics that focus on treating only the spinal column, we treat the entire body as a whole. We remove interference from the nervous system which exists in the spine as the result of accidents, repetitive strain injuries, emotional trauma, accumulation of microtrauma or poor posture. This interference blocks and distorts messages from the brain to the affected tissue cells and vice versa. This results in a lowered efficiency in the body. This can lead to dysfunction. Dysfunction can lead to disease. We believe that the body can heal itself .

Focus of Health

Focus of Health

The five most important factors for good health are:

  1. Diet
  2. Rest
  3. Exercise
  4. Mental attitude, and
  5. A sound nervous system.

3. Exercise

Exercise is extremely beneficial for the body because it circulates oxygen and nutrition to all the cells of the body and removes waste product. Exercise tunes the muscles of the body which takes the strain off its holding elements. It makes us feel better, removes the effects of stress and aids in longevity. Exercise doesn’t have to be complicated. A simple daily walk will accomplish much.

1. Diet

Diet is important because you are what you eat. Eat fresh and alive foods because you are fresh and alive. For example eat water food for breakfast because your body is in its elimination stage. Eat salads and vegetables for lunch and assimilation foods for dinner (proteins and carbohydrates). It is important to have three balanced meals a day. Avoid if possible saturated fats, white sugars and white flours. Use whole grain products and honey instead.

4. Mental Attitude

Your mental attitude has a bearing on your health as well. If you have an optimistic attitude you attract good things to your life. Physiologically it causes vasodilation of the blood vessels which allows more circulation in the body which removes waste product. A negative mental attitude promotes vasoconstriction of the blood vessels which allows accumulation of waste product which promotes toxicity.

2. Rest

Sufficient sleep and rest is a must for rebuilding the body. Too many people push themselves too hard. They stimulate themselves with coffee and cigarettes which becomes a pattern that is difficult to break. Everything in nature is a balance. To assure good health you should work eight hours, relax for eight hours and rest for eight hours.

5. A Sound Nervous System

A sound nervous system is necessary for good health because it is the master control system of the body. This system coordinates all the functions of the body. It is the electrical system of the body and just like the electrical system in our homes, the nervous system is susceptible to overloads and blown fuses and circuits. If these circuit breakers are not reset and continue to influence the integrity of the body, a lowered vitality is felt. This makes a person more susceptible to stress, negative environments and a lowered auto immune system which can lead to a susceptibility to ill health. This is why a sound nervous system needs the spine properly aligned and operating without interference. It is an important factor for optimum health and wellness. This is what chiropractic does on a totally material plain. Nothing is injected in or cut out.

The body expresses health and wellness if it is subjected to the five factors of and for health.
